Carousel Pictures is a Toronto-based film, television and digital production company founded in 2013 by Producer Tyler Levine. Specializing in story development and production financing, Carousel Pictures brings together the best in Canadian creative talent with investment from across the country and around the world. 


Tyler Levine, Producer

Since Tyler Levine formed his production company Carousel Pictures, he has been the lead producer on three theatrical feature films. 

The hipster comedy ‘Sundowners’ starred Tim Heidecker and was sold by Submarine to The Orchard. ‘Trench 11’ and ‘Population Zero’ were both sold in over 50 countries globally and made the hot list as top grossing Canadian films at the box office. 

A graduate of McGill University and Norman Jewison’s Canadian Film Centre Producers’ Lab, Levine has also produced, ‘That’s What Sheena Said’ a web series for CBC Comedy and is currently developing ‘Starring Phil Hartman’, a biopic about the late great comedian. 

In addition to his work as a producer, Levine has also co-written the feature horror-comedy films ‘Bitten’ starring Jason Mewes and ‘UKM’ starring Michael Madsen.


Kevin Prozes, Partner

Kevin Prozes graduated Rotman MBA and McGill University BA with a concentration in Economics. Subsequently he has enjoyed equity proprietary trading experience on five different trading floors for three different firms, Nesbitt Burns, TD Securities and RBC.

A lover of cinema and believer in film and television as enterprise Carousel Pictures forms the cornerstone of a growing venture capital investment.


Katelyn Cursio, JUnior Producer

Katelyn Cursio has been a part of Carousel Pictures since its inception in October, 2013. Over the past four years Cursio has served as the assistant to the producer, production coordinator, and associate producer on a variety of Carousel’s projects. Working in the front office and on set, Cursio has acquired extensive experience in the development and production of feature films and digitally released content. 

A graduate of Humber’s Film and Media Production; Bachelor of Film program, Cursio has also worked on an array of film and television productions independently. Most recently she served as a production assistant and E&O coordinator on the television pilot The Beaverton for Pier 21 Films and Bell Media.
